This is a great confusion for us that, what I would buy! Laptop or desktop. It is a great question. So in today’s post I will discuss about the laptops and desktops. So to start this post, you should know that there are some features, advantages of laptop and desktop. And its fully depends on your usage.

1.  Determining what you will do with your computer (laptop/desktop)?

    

So, the first thing you need to decide that “what you will do with your computer (laptop/desktop)?”If you want to use the computer in game playing, video and graphics editing so laptop is not for you. Because laptop are not as strong as desktop is.you can use the software as like Adobe After Effects, Premium pro in laptop. But it will not give you the enough performance. If you use computer in the office work as like using word, excel, access PowerPoint so you can buy a laptop. Because it is portable you can take it in your call to take a note, you can use it in café or in bus / train etc. So for this type of work laptop is best for you.

                                                                 So why you cannot you use laptop in Gaming. The main thing which is related with it is the Power Efficiency will talk about it later. So, this point you need to remember that if you use the computer in office work so you can buy a laptop OR you want to play Games and editing video so you will buy a Desktop; laptop is not for you

2.  Performance

This term is the most important thing and peoples always check this before buying any device or Gadget. This is the performance. The performance of desktop and laptop is different.

                If we compare a laptop of core i7 6^th Gen and a desktop of core i7 6^th so the performance of Desktop is better than Laptop. Power Efficiency is the cause of difference of between laptop and desktop

      3. Power Efficiency

Power Efficiency is the “term” associate with the power supplying to your computer. Power efficiency of laptop and desktops is completely different

.

In the first point I told you that the Power efficiency is the main thing that you cannot run any video games in laptop. Because this kind of software demands more graphics and RAM power, which laptop cannot supply.Becusae laptop runs on the power of the battery. After charging, battery supplies the power to hardware and the they are run.

  As laptop run on the battery, the power atfirst goes to the Ram and processor and the to the other hardware. So laptop cannot supply the enough power to the Graphic Card or external hardware.

                           In the other hand, in case of desktop we plugged in the plug and then start it. So desktop uses no battery and it can supply the full amount of charge to the Graphic Card or exterior devices so the games or editing software can run on the desktop easily.

4. Upgradability

The best advantage of Desktop is upgradability. You can change any of the part of the desktop. You can change the RAM, processor, graphics grade, monitor HDD and many other things.

                                       In laptop you have not enjoy this advantage because you will buy a complete package and you this only.

 

   5. Run Time

If you buy a Laptop with a best configuration, as like core i7 6^th processor, NVIDIA Graphics Card 2GB with a good Architect. Although you have chosen the best Components but if you work on the laptop for a long time, at first moment it will work cool and attractively, after a long time its temperature will increasing and it will be hot, when it stays cool it will work nicely. But while

                                    So if you want to buy a computer to run it for long time, you will always buy a desktop or you will be a fool because it will be hang for many times. Why? Because the laptop is combined and fixed in a small space so its ventilation system is poor.

   In the other hand Desktop has much space and its ventilation system is better than laptop

So at last let’s compare the difference of laptop and desktop and watch which is best for you:
